Access to Your Devices, Systems, and Data
Providing computer repair and IT services often requires EezIT to access your computer, mobile device, server, network, cloud environment, or other technology systems.
Depending on the Services requested, this access may include:
- Physical access to your device
- Remote support sessions initiated with your authorization

Remote Support Sessions
Remote support sessions are performed only with your authorization.
During a remote support session, an EezIT technician may temporarily view or control your device to diagnose, troubleshoot, configure, or repair the reported issue.
Remote access software is used solely for the duration necessary to perform the requested Services unless you expressly request ongoing remote management under a Managed IT Services agreement.
You may terminate a remote session at any time; however, doing so may prevent us from completing the requested Services.
EezIT is not responsible for interruptions caused by internet outages, third-party software failures, hardware malfunctions, electrical failures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Working Copies of Data
Certain Services—including data recovery, operating system reinstallation, malware removal, backup restoration, and device migration—may require EezIT to temporarily create working copies of customer data.
Where this is necessary:
- working copies are retained only for the time reasonably required to complete the requested Services;
- access is restricted to personnel involved in performing the work;
- the data is not used for any purpose unrelated to providing the requested Services; and
- the working copies are securely deleted once the Service has been completed, unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by you in writing.
Passwords and Login Credentials
Certain Services require access to password-protected systems or online accounts.
Where login credentials are provided to EezIT:
- they are used solely for the purpose of providing the requested Services;
- they are disclosed only to personnel who require access to perform those Services;
- they are not shared with unrelated third parties;
- they are stored only where reasonably necessary during the engagement; and
- they are deleted or destroyed when no longer required.
For your protection, EezIT may recommend changing passwords after completing certain Services, particularly following malware removal, cybersecurity incidents, or account recovery.
