Apple Certified Mac Repair in Calgary | Same-Day Service

A broken MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini does not have to mean a trip to the Apple Store or a long wait for an appointment. Our Apple certified technicians come to you across Calgary, diagnose the issue on the spot, and repair it the same day whenever the part is on hand, so you are back to work quickly and without the runaround.

Apple Certified, Calgary Trusted Mac Repair

Certified Technicians. Transparent Pricing. Same-Day Repairs Across Calgary.

EezIT’s technicians are Apple certified, so your MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini is handled by someone who actually understands Apple hardware, not a general repair shop guessing their way through it.

We diagnose the real cause of the problem first, then explain your options before any work begins. Whether you’re dealing with a cracked MacBook screen, an iMac that won’t power on, or a Mac mini running slow, we come to your home or business anywhere in Calgary and complete most repairs the same day.

Need help with a Windows PC or something outside Apple hardware instead? Our Computer Repair Calgary services handle that.

Mac Repair Services We Offer in Calgary

Screen Repair & Replacement

Whether it’s a spiderweb of cracks across a MacBook display or a dead pixel cluster on an iMac screen, a damaged display is one of the most common reasons Calgary Mac owners call us.

  • MacBook screen replacement, cracked or shattered
  • iMac Retina display replacement
  • Flickering or unresponsive display repair
  • Hinge repair for lids that won’t stay open

Once we’ve confirmed the correct part for your exact model, most screens are replaced the same day.

Battery Replacement

A MacBook battery that swells, drains within the hour, or only works while plugged in is nearing the end of its life, and waiting doesn’t make it better.

  • Replacement for batteries that no longer hold a charge
  • Diagnosis for unusually fast battery drain
  • Safe removal of swollen or damaged batteries
  • Genuine and compatible battery options

Every battery replacement includes a full charging and power system test, so you know the fix actually solved the problem.

Keyboard & Trackpad Repair

A MacBook with sticky keys, a trackpad that won’t click properly, or damage from a spill usually doesn’t need a full replacement computer, just the right repair.

  • Full keyboard replacement for spill or impact damage
  • Trackpad responsiveness and click repair
  • Backlit keyboard repair on supported models

Most keyboard and trackpad repairs are same-day, since replacement is usually faster than trying to fix individual components.

Power, Charging & Won't Turn On Issues

A Mac that stays black when trying to turn it on is not necessarily dead. More often than not, the real culprit is the charging port, the power adapter, or a single internal component.

  • Diagnosis for Macs that won’t power on at all
  • Charging port and adapter testing
  • Power supply replacement for iMac and Mac mini

We find the actual cause before quoting a repair, so you know whether fixing it makes sense before we start.

Overheating & Slow Performance

Fan noise, sudden shutdowns, and a Mac that’s slowed to a crawl are all specific symptoms, not a sign it’s time to buy a new one.

  • Cooling fan cleaning and replacement
  • Thermal paste replacement for overheating units
  • Diagnostics for freezing or lagging performance
  • macOS cleanup and startup optimization

Most of these issues are resolved in a single appointment.

Data Recovery

Losing access to photos, documents, or work files is often the part of a Mac problem that worries people most, and it’s usually not as permanent as it looks.

  • Recovery for Macs that won’t boot
  • Support for failing or damaged drives
  • Data transfer to a new Mac or external drive
  • Backup setup to help prevent it happening again

We’ll always tell you what’s recoverable before doing any additional work, so there are no surprises.

How Our Mac Repair Process works

Tools, Methods, and Systems We Use to Fix Macs Right

Apple hardware is not the same as a generic PC, and it shouldn't be diagnosed like one. Our certified technicians combine dedicated Apple diagnostic tools with hands-on troubleshooting experience, so the root cause gets identified correctly the first time.

Mac Repair Frequently Asked Questions

EezIT provides Apple certified Mac repair backed by honest diagnostics and transparent pricing. We support MacBook, iMac, and Mac mini owners across Calgary and Edmonton, and we’re happy to answer any questions before you book.

What does Mac repair cost in Calgary?

Every repair is priced based on the actual issue and the part involved. Screen, battery, and keyboard repairs typically fall between $98 and $250, plus parts. We always aim to confirm the cost with you before starting.

Same-day is the norm for screens, batteries, and keyboards once we have the part on hand. If a specific part needs to be special-ordered for your model, it may take a bit longer.

All three. Our technicians are equipped to diagnose and repair MacBook, iMac, and Mac mini, not just laptops.

In most cases, yes. A Mac that appears completely dead is usually a charging port, adapter, or internal component issue, not a dead machine. We’ll identify the actual cause before recommending anything.

We come to you, anywhere in Calgary, for both homes and businesses. A small number of repairs do require off-site work, such as non powering units or screen replacements.  We will tell you upfront if yours is one of them.

If your Mac is still covered by Apple’s warranty or AppleCare, we’ll flag that before doing any work that could affect it.

While we take care to protect all your files throughout the repair process, a backup is always recommended when possible. If you specifically need data recovered from a failing drive, we’ll confirm exactly what’s recoverable before doing anything further.

We use genuine parts where available and high-quality compatible parts where they aren’t, always matched to your exact model. We’ll tell you which type applies to your repair before we start.

You won’t be charged. The only exception is a diagnostic fee, which may apply if deep level diagnosis is required, if the necessary parts are unavailable, declined, or the issue is outside our control.

We stop and let you know immediately. You’ll get a clear explanation and an updated quote, and nothing more happens until you say go.
