Our Data Recovery Process

If your data is currently inaccessible, the first step is to complete our Booking Form. This is where you’ll select the type of appointment you prefer. Please note, no data recovery can be completed remotely. 

Next, we’ll ask for your contact information so our team can follow up and confirm either your drop-off details or address for an on-location visit.

We will then ask you to verify all the details provided, so we can schedule the appropriate team members and equipment or give you a time to drop off the equipment at our Edmonton location.

Generally, for data recovery, we will require the storage media to be taken off-site. This involves the removal of the hard drive from your computer or laptop. 

We have a minimum 1-hour charge for data recovery. This is due to the complexities involved in diagnosing faulty media. This charge will be credited towards the data recovery cost, should you go ahead with the process.

Cory was very courteous, explained everything that was wrong with my computer in detail and offered various solutions. He helped me understand and weigh in costs for each. Going forward with a new PC made much more sense than fixing my old one, and he came for a second visit to help me set everything up and transfer over my data. Great company to work with.
